The last week of October 2008 I became sick which lead to a finding of a non-cancerous tumor behind my nose. A more pressing concern was the excruciating pain of Glossopharyngeal neuralgia(GN), a rare pain syndrome that affects the glossopharyngeal nerve (the ninth cranial nerve that lies deep within the neck) and causes sharp, stabbing pulses of pain in the back of the throat and tongue, the tonsils, and the middle ear. The tumor was an accidential finding but I know that God was leading the way. I had surgery Nov 29, 2008 and the following 9 days was the worst pain of my entire life. A few times I didn't believe I was going to make it but the prayers of saints got me thru. This event in my life has drawn me closer to God, my wife and family.
As of March 2008 I am still recovering but I am feeling so much better. Please anyone that sees this please lift me in prayer. Thank you and God bless to all.
